Evinrude 1999 225 Code 44

Believe it's a 1999, Getting code 44 (Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction). Engine seems to run fine as of now. Attempted to find part number for the tube/diaphragm that comes from the ECM/EMM and connects to exhaust housing but couldn't find it on any diagrams online. Would that hose or diaphragm if clogged cause code 44? Part number?

OK I'm even more confused now. Bought this engine recently to replace a blown 2003 powerhead. I intended to remove the powerhead and utizize just that until I realized the replacement engine did not have the larger water hoses connecting to the exhaust manifold that my 2003 powerhead had so I utilized the exhaust manifold that came with the replacement engine. I believe the powerheads switched to the larger water hoses for the 2000 models which made me believe this was a 1999 powerhead along with the label on the midsection containing the model and serial number and date of 10/1998. Looking at the parts catalog for the 1999 engine the hose coming from the side of the ECU (I Believe the 1999 computers are labeled ECU's) containing the diaphragm that attaches to the rear starboard side of the exhaust housing isn't even listed. Can anybody help with this confusion? Also there appeared to be water coming from that tube, through the diaphragm down into the exhaust manifold, or opposite direction but therte was definitely water moving through the hose when running which i figured should just be air running through that hose.

Update. I disconnected the exhaust assembly diaphragm and blew through the hose into the exhaust manifold and that’s clear air blew through without any problem. I changed diaphragm's and issue was the same. Exhaust pressure reads around 70 and goes up and down a few numbers with rpm’s. After about 30 seconds of engine running the alarm comes on and the pressure drops to zero and remains there.
