Evinrude 1996 150 starter removal

Trying to remove a starter from a evinrude 1996 150. Seems to be gear driven and offset. Do I have to remove the flywheel cover or anything else?

I think it only has the three bolts.Unhook the positive battery cable from the battery,<br />and the cable to the starter.<br />Undo the three (maybee just two) bolts. Gently tap the starter,not too hard,as too much tapping can cause other problems in the starter....But they do "stick" sometimes.<br />the original will be painted-into place.<br /><br /><br /><br />------------------<br />Time to change my tagline
