Math, I'm afraid you have limited options to choose from in order to rig up an operational ignition system. In my opinion, you can do one of the following;
1. Pray that you are able to scrape up a working magneto from a donor motor.
2. Acquire a working buzz coil (Model T type, or otherwise) and wire it up to use the points and timer that you do have to get your motor going.
With your ignition in its current state, a buzz coil and battery represents the best solution at the lowest cost and least amount of work. You will not be able to use magneto parts from an opposed twin outboard unless you're willing to perform radical surgery and make drastic alterations to the Model D, and even if there was an outside chance that such work would yield a positive result, I wouldn't advise anybody to try it.

not sure if these pics are of both , or just one. but both are very similiar opposed twin cyl rbms, 1928 and 1932 . ( they are both buried at the back of the " collection", and somewhat hard to get to. but if someone can give the possibility of a coil working for you, i will dig them out for a more detailed look!
