I am trying to find a starter for my '60 18hp fastwin (model 15032). I've found some on ebay that get close to my model but none that are right. Also I'm guessing I need the bracket for the starter as well since I can't figure out where the thing would actually fit. Any info to head me in the right direction would be great. Also if anyone can get a pic of how the starter mounts onto the motor that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The bracket is built into that starter. They are on E Bay from time to time, but they usually go for around $80.00 and up not counting shipping. To mount them you take off one of the old brackets and then the starter will line up with the flywheel. If you do not already have a toothed flywheel you will need to get one of those also.

Good info for your questions so far. If it were mine, I'd make a call to Engine, Blade & Prop in Milwaukee, WI, or Laings Outboards. Google either name and you'll find contact info. Might also try a free wanted ad at the classifieds/webvertize section of the Antique Outboard Motor Club website. Google that, too, to get their website.

I looked at e-bay and didn't see any starters with brackets for an 18. However, similar questions pop up here with great regularity. I would guess that there are more people looking for 18hp starter brackets than were ever produced in the first place.
