Yea, I figure if it's not running up to parr after doing the basic tune ups and such, then it's best to tear into it deeper. Hell, if you have to, tear it all the way down to the bare nuts and bolts. Clean everything up and totally restore this thing. LOL After that, you will have a brand new motor that will get lots of attention down at the water. The '53 Super Fastwin, in my oppinin was a great motor.
