evinrude 150 on fletcher boat steering problem

the rear transom supports on my boat foul my steering cable where it comes out of the engine is it possible to put a transom bracket for the cable then straight on to the steering arm on the motor?

Not real sure of your situation, but something like This may work, or if you need setback on your motor, This may be what your after. What exactly do you mean be transom supports are in the way?
