i am going to change water pump or there any things towatch for is sierra a good pump
also going to change stats what do i need to just change thermos plate gasket thermos and?
tanks benny 1963 have manual on order does any one know of a link to do waterpump change

Benny, Are you just changing the impeller or are you installing an entire kit? Sierra isn't bad but I personally would go with OEM Parts. Also do the thermostats need to be changed? Are they not working correctly?

The manual you ordered will tell you step by step how to change the water pump. Just make sure when you put the lower unit back on that you have the shift rod length adjusted. Good luck. let me know how it goes
