evinrude 115 or 140 ?

Have just acqired this engine.Transom bracket has<br />mod# 115ETL780 SER# J4980470 Small freeze plug onport side cyl. has 391226 RPH. The cowl says 140hp.Can you help me identify? Also I got this for $100. at a marina. Owner left it for two years.Any way to get title?<br />Thanks Ebeneezer

the RPH is a Replacment Power Head.<br />at some point & time the original was replaced.<br />-<br />that # is a part # not a serial #.<br />i found that out when i bought a spare block & it had the same RPH # as the motor i had.
