for about 5months now i had been trying to get lower unstuck at crank
had posted lots of times got lots of responses and a lot of different ways.
had to pull motor off boat put on large a frame got a gap of 1/4 ''
between lower and mid sec and put steel bar in between and chained
it to floor . drive shft looks good didnt find corrosion that i expected
looked like old grease on shaft end splines look good .
is there any way shaft may have bent looks strait.
what would the result be if it is bent it is a stainless shaft
could i tear up crank splines or will shaft break.
or will i have vibration if i run .
was going to run it with fresh oil and see if it is smooth.
and if it is going to pick up water.
good idea or bad.
