Re: Everyone in Texas okay?
With the Boston news event going on, I have seen very little on this explosion.
Saddened by all the damage, injured, and dead.
After checking out the online sources, it looks like this was a small plant, much like hundreds or more, that are scattered across the country, just like in my town. Appears the buildings were approx 80x150, and 40x100, and a couple storage bins.
Kind of makes you wonder why these are so close to population centers.
Even a half mile buffer zone would have saved much suffering.
But, chances are the plant was there, and the town grew up around it.
Also, explosion seems to have been a very directional blast, aimed directly at the apartment building and the nursing home.
