Evenrude Age and Long-or-Shot

Have a chance to purchase a 55hp, evinrude, and need to know if its; a long or a short shaft, it's for a Pontoon boat
Number Part on motor is 55973A, SN: J07274
From what I know it's a 1969 model . .

If it's a 69 model 55 it'll be a 3 cylinder. It should be a 20" (long) motor. The 15" (short) models were a little rare.
