hi just looking for some help on my evenrude 2 lever conrtrol wondering what the idle stop screw does its on the front end of the control box all help apreciated
Does just what you said - adjusts the idle via the throttle cable by limiting movement of the cable toward slow setting. On older motors, you can also adjust the idle via the stop screw at the engine.
ok so what i find is my 25hp 87 johnson at idle sounds a bit low not stalling but very low idling so via this screw or the one on carb i can up idle a bit
