Ethanol additive

I was asking about ethenol fuel stabilisers. Such as Sta -bils " marine ethenol fuel stabiliser".

WIMUSKY....why would I comment? I asked the question? And, it seems it hasn't been answered. I will gather the info, process it, and decide to use or not to use.

Ah ok, I wasn't aware that Sta-Bil had a marine specific product that is specifically marketed oops I mean formulated for marine use. Or that it was targeted specifically at ethanol.

On a side note I've had 3/4 of a tank of ethanol gas (no Sta-Bil) in a 1957 Johnson pressurized tank for at least 8 years. Still smells like the day i put it in there. BTW I don't know why it hasn't exploded. Those things are sooooo dangerous!

For example, post #2 asked a ?, no response. Post #38 thought u were gone for good. When you don't reply every now and then, members think you have moved on. It happens a lot....

And you were mia for 3 weeks... Out of courtesy it's nice to post something every now and then. Even if it's just to say thank you for all the responses..
