Hello guys, yesterday on the lake I have this error code and the bout stopped moving even when WOT the engine was on 750 RpM
The error code is

dtc222:tps2 voltage low

I think is the throttle position sensor
I have 212 regal 2100

Boat information
9724363581
40869324
50gxic270r

Can you please help , I want to know which one is the TPS sensor.
I used to have a link I can add the serial number and model number for the boat and get all the part information. But this link I have doesn’t work . Can you please send me the link and picture of the sensor. Or if I am mistaken can you please tell me what that code ?

I will appreciate your help

This?

Check all of the electrical connections first. Do you have access to a scan tool?

No.

This looks to be an electronic throttle body. You won’t believe what this part costs. The good thing is this problem is almost always a wiring issue. You might want to get the service manual and wiring diagram to troubleshoot.

Oops, just reread your post. Says you are at 750 rpm, we call that “forced idle” and a DTC 222 is usually a “derate 2” which holds the engine at about 30% power. You might have more than just this one code. Might need a scan.

By the way last time when I was at the lake I start losing power like when i put the boat on WOT the RPM stay on 3000 and the speed stuck on 10 Mph then I asked my friend to change their seat to the front after that the rpm start raising and the speed back to normal and passed the 10 mph, this happened with me two days before the boat fault

Do you have 2 engine lights on your dash, a red and amber?
When this happened did they light up or did you get a warning horn or other notification?

Thanks a lot I replaced it and get the boat running
Yes, the two TPSs are inside where your finger is.
Probably not, only way to know is to troubleshoot it.
