engine warning sound

I'm getting my Mercury outboard 60 ready for the water. It cranks fine but I'm getting the warniong sound. Very little water is coming from the port just under the engine housing. Stopped up? How to remedy?

Run a pipe cleaner up the telltale hose, remove and clean the Thermostat, and pray.<br />It may be time for a new impeller. They are usually good for only a couple years, and can form a "set" from sitting in one spot for a year or so.
