I have a 1998 Mercury 175 EFI that's giving me a lot of trouble at low RPM, it quits if acelerated and return to nuetral on fast mode. This engine was completele rebulid last year and has less than 50Hr's of running perfectly. Seems to be a fuel problem. The only trouble encontered was two weeks ago it developed a noise on the intake, when revised I found the back plate that holds the fuel injection system was loose and a couple of screews fell out. This plate was re tight and worked perfect for a while. Now is quiting at low revs when forward is engaged.<br />Can find a certified mechanic with proper equipent to diagnose.<br />Help!
