Engine Trolley Stand

I want to make my own Volvo Penta 5.7 Engine Stand - basically square frame that the engine would sit inside with four wheels
Anyone got a drawing with dimension's

any help appreciated

a free wood skid and a 2 x 4. cut the 2x4 into a few 8" lengths, make some risers for the mounts to sit on, rest the oil pan and flywheel housing on the skid. dont over think it.

you can run the motor on it. you can move it with a forklift, and if you want, run lag screws into the blocks and strap the motor to it if you want to lift it into your truck.

Some of the ones you can buy have a jack or another way to raise or lower the outdrive.

I purchased on of Stumpy`s stands after using a home made for years. The Stumpy`s is much nicer in that you can adjust the height of the stand much easier. If you plan on using it often. I suggest Stumpy`s.
