Engine swap

Ok I have a Chevy 250 1973 model in my boat. I have a dead cylinder. So my question is I bought a 1966 Chevy 250 engine. Does anyone know if I would be able to swap the engine out with the 1966?

As long as the Replacement motor has the front Motor Mount, Mounting Holes in the Block,......

Ayuh,.... No Problem.......

Many Chevy Blocks are lacking those Holes in the front of the Block......
