You should probably post more info, such as the year and model of the engine, if it's carbed or injected, etc.

First guess...fuel pump.

Check the fuel filter.

if in board check the siphon valve, and if have the spin on fuel filter check gasket, and also the vent tube for dirt dobber nests etc then if in board also check condition of fuel hoses they get soft inside from this new gas
