Engine starts .. won't keep running

Hello everyone:
I have a 1994 60hp. It was tuned up last fall before going into winter storage. I bought the boat last spring. The engine has been working great until Labor Day .. start easy.. run rough.. then smoothed out...now it will start fine, but not stay running. I went to a new tank with new line, bulb and connections..and new gas....same thing....gas is blowing out of the carbs, mechanic told me this will happen if the engine "races", which it some times does just before shutting down. I pulled the plugs right after the engine stalled and all three were wet. Got and ideas/suggestions?

when were the carbs, last totally cleaned and rebuilt. sounds like you have trash in the float needles flooding the motor. or the primer red knob, has been turned. the knob should be in this position.

or you have an electrical component failing.
