Hello,
I am new boat owner and just recently bought a 1987 Four Winns Horizon 170.
It is a 17' bowrider inboard/outboard 6-cylinder 4.3
Hull ID 4wnte098k687
Vehicle ID 1mdbeet15hj291163
The engine is an OMC Cobra stern drive. The boat works fine but there seems to be some issues with the engine and the throttle. Sometimes it works but most of them time it either stalls out or will slow down even when the throttle is pushed to the max, then speed up and slow down again. I've found that I have had to baby the throttle just to prevent it from stalling. My friend says it might be the fuel line? What do you guys think? How can I fix it?
Thanks,
Nick
