U live in south or north??? In NW Florida many burn 10w30/40. Crank up with 10w30 and see if it burns excessive oil. U may have to thicken oil. Most motors don't wear out, they corrode or rust out.

BRIAN 31227 THE ENGINE OIL 25-40 WT ...
MY ENGINE 470 MCM OIL 30WT AND THE SN PLUS 6 OZ ....1978 -2024 ENGINE VERY GOOD JOB ...
