Engine model number

I have 2 engines I am trying to locate model/ year of production for the serial number of the first 1 is R8180101 it is a 25 hp Tracker / Evinrude

The 2nd one is R8225860 with a partial model number of E100S it is a 100 hp Evinrude I have posted pictures as well IMG_0919.jpgScreenshot 2025-04-11 153153.png

The cowl will provide no insight. There should be a plate on the transom bracket that will tell it all.

A missing plate could indicate a stolen motor. Google OMCs database and look up your serial numbers. At the very least It would probably identify the year of manufacture.

Post some ( 5 or 6 ) of the powerhead.----The 100 HP version was marketed in 79 / 80.-----Then again from 88 to 94.----And it could be that the later midsection was put on an older motor.----Or an older lower unit put on a newer motor.-----This is what happens with numerous owners !
