Engine idles rough after an hour on lake

I have a 1983 glastron with 3.8L omc motor with 800 series sterndrive. When I first get on the lake it runs great but after an hour it starts to idle rough and is hard to start. I'm new to owning a boat and would like to fix myself if possible.

Check fuel/water separator and do a tune-up.

Thanks for the reply I will check this weekend. Hopefully that's all it is. Will post update.

make sure your choke is opening all the way.
