I have a 2021 24NXT. I only had been out on it twice and flushed the engines. I forgot to replace the cap and burned up the impeller. I ran it Thursday for four hours and ran great. Friday am I put it in the water and was filling up the bags and within 15 minutes the engine overheated and temp got up to 270. Impeller is burned up again. I know the cap was on, but when I checked the engine, the cap was off. No way it could have ran for four hours the day before with the cap off and not have any overheating issues. My guess is that it rattled off. Has anybody heard of this happening?
