engine cover gas shock mount

One of the 2 mounting brackets for the gas shocks that hold the engine compartment hatch open has rusted through and I have absolutely no idea where to start looking for one. Stingray parts for my boat are like unicorns. Is there an automotive application that anybody knows of that may work?

They are a dime a dozen on the open market.

Search -gas springs, marine

Need rod diameter, overall length, stroke and mounting details,

Should be easy to match up once you collect the information

Stabilus. They have good customer service and can do custom items. Not sure about 1 or 2 each but I just had them make me some. Had to order 50 for them to do a special run
