Engine Bogging Down When Cold

If it is preventing full power when not up to operating temp, how is that bad? In reality it will keep the engine from dying a premature death

It’s just a short ride from the dock past the no wake zone - hampered the fun.
Either way, I’ll let everyone know how it works with the new sensor and thermostat once I get it on the water this weekend.

You really should get the engine up to Operating Temp before jazzing the Go-Go Lever

Well done. I’d say that due getting swapped out. Hope it’s the issue. But seen worse for sure.

Don’t know if it was solely the sensor, the distributor, or the thermostat, but replacing all 3 definitely fixed it.

Good cap and rotor is all too common issue on these mpis , would keep a spare cap and rotor on hand as they dont seem to last long.
