engien temp senors

Does anybody have a pictures or know where the Engine Temp Senor is, my gauge doesn't work and I want to trace the waire around and fix it.

Do we win anything if we guess which engine model, year, and type you have?
If you post an engines Merc serial number, we can probably tell you where things are.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... I'm gonna guess it's screwed into the T-stat housin',....

Wow, a big apology for this thread, my brain must not have been working, I even misspelled engine, and I asked a really dumb question, I found the sensor, there's just no wire hooked to it, now I have to find it. I have a omc 3.0 on an 89 citation.

can anybody post a picture of where that wire goes into the main harness, or a wire diagram?
