Emanuals??

I know the factory repair manuals are the shizizle for doing deep repairs/overhauls on these motors, but how are the emanuals for the basics? Ie lower unit seals, water pumps, ignition stuff, tune ups etc?

I have an 86 J60xxxx that I’m not keeping. So I don’t want to invest in a specific manual for it (not to mention the searching to find and the shipping lead times.

Thanks. I don’t want to invest in that, or wait for shipping, customs, etc. I’ll do that with my 70 rebuild

Already got my parts and I’ve dived in.
youtube has an excellent lower unit service tutorial. It’s the ignition timing etc.

This one is going on my Brother boat until he outfits up with the one he’s after then maybe a backup motor until I move it out.
