Just got back from the sierras towed boat with motorhome up and down Sherwin grade it gos from 3,000 ft. to about 7,000 ft. The electric brakes are the best thing I have ever done on the trailer and they only took about one and a half hours to do from start to finish. Just wanted to update and Thank you all for the advice and help.......8)

No but I did use liquid electric tape on the connectors think that will be ok..?

[colour=blue]Because the join may be immersed in water, I prefer to solder, then liquid tape, then shrink tube.

But that's just me. You should be fine with liquid tape.
