I recently purchased a 1994 Regal 256. I thought it had a manual pump head with a holding tank and a macerator. However, this weekend was the first chance I had to really go over the boat to put together my work list. I noticed that it has an Electric Jabsco toilet and that where the macerator switch should be on the panel, there is not one. I did some digging and found that the toilet has the macerator built in (or at least it looks like it does from Jabsco's website). Now, I know that this toilet is a replacement from the original (A receipt for it was in with the paperwork I got from the previous owner, who is unavailable to answer the question do to illness). My thinking is this, you push the button and it draws the water in from the seacock, flushing the contents into the macerator which chews it up and discharges it over the side. Legality aside for now, is that how and electric head works?
