Elbow and exhaust manifold inspection what do you think?

Non-dry joint elbows. Warm the engine, retorque the elbow and manifold bolts while the engine is still warm.

Dry joint elbows. Warm the engine, retorque ONLY the manifold (to head) bolts. Do not retorque the elbow bolts.

But question regarding torque exhaust Manifold to heads. Page 7B-2 says 34Nm but Page 7B-9 says 43Nm …(??) manual #37

I don't know which is correct but converted to ft lbs it is 25 &31 ft lbs respectively which is not much difference- either will work, but if I didn't have a torque wrench I'd use a calibrated elbow ...

Ayuh,..... I've got several torque wrenches, 'n I still use my calibrated elbow for those bolts,.....
Pretty darn snug, vs: Good 'n Tight on others,....
