Hello been looking around here for some time and haven't seen the answer to a question. I have a 2004 60HP 4 stroke EFI engine and Im, thinking of hooking up a water temp gage. I know the engine has a temp sensor for the ECM and a sensor for the alarm but I don't thing either of these sensors will work for a faria water temp gage. Im going to have to put another sensor in the engine and run another wire for it to work right, am I thinking correctly? I also want to put a trim sensor on the engine and the part number for that model says no longer available, Im assuming a later model sensor will work in its place, I just don't know what models have the same mounting. Also wondering if the tach signal will work my analog tach. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks
