So it looks like the resize function is still messed up.

I'm not sure exactly. I know I was saving as 55 x 75 and such as that, but it kept trying square off everything. So I found a logo that was square and made it 55x55 pixels. That seemed to work. Still seems small.

There is still a weird issue with the image selection and resizing. At least everyone can now upload a custom avatar. We will keep working on it!

I just ran thru a forum category I've never been to, and a Topic I've never opened and there were avatars I've never seen showing on members I've never seen a post from. Do you see my avatar on this post? In the Topics I've read this morning, I've seen all the avatars I'm used to seeing. You don't have one shown though Joe. But I do see your Sig pix....

there is nothing above anyones name. I've never loaded one. My sig pic I loaded a few months back and didn't need to do anything for the upgrade.

Let me see if there is and settings to show avatars - there usually is for sig pics.

I don't think we allow .gifs as a avatar.

My avatar is zoomed in because it did not resize correctly.

aha! saved as a jpeg and worked. Is there a list somewhere to post of allowed file types? Other forums show that when you are in the upload process.

Toneeees, is that a change with the V5.x.x versions. Bondo and Bruce58 come to mind as having gif avatars.

Let me double check, I thought I saw a setting that was set to "No" for allowing animated avatars.

They may have been automatically grandfathered since they are from pre-VB5

RNJ - You should flip the right side up. And upside down flag is a sign of distress or dissatisfaction, in which case it could be taken as political. Thanks.
