Easy to move the drive one side by hand from the outside

Its Alpha One Gen 2, Boat on a trailer, Ive noticed that I can pull the drive easily to the left by hand but to the right it doesnt move, is that correct?
steering wheel works just fine

If I don't try to move it too fast, I can get mine to go all the way across. If I push it quickly, it locks up.

ok, that's a different issue. indicates worn pins (upper and lower swivel shafts). The amount I'd tolerate would be between 0.000" and 0.000". Outside that spec and I'd be pulling it all apart and fixing the problem. (but that's just me, I'm a bit anal. I took my engine out about 9 times to fix an oil leak most people wouldn't have even noticed. )

If the steering shaft movement isn't too bad, you have plenty of time.
