eagle fish ID II

Hi there,
my eagle fish finder (fishID II) stoppped working today. I can still just see the screen so I know its getting power however the screen is very light making it almost impossible to read. Anyone got any idea what might be going on. Ive got two of the same model for parts but cant seem to get them apart. Even once Ive removed the one allen key bolt and the two blug screws it wont come apart. Any ideas on how to pull them apart.

Would really appreciate any feed back.

Its been awhile since seeing these type of units, but you should be able to swap the other head unit in without taking it apart. If the other one shows he same issue, its probably in the power cable. ie poor contacts-too much voltage drop.
