Have another thread on this outboard, those issues mostly resolved.
When testing other issues I used muffs for water supply, and it did not pee! Peed well when in a trub of water previously.
Removed the lower inspected the pump, see the round o-ring is missing in the housing that the cup presses up against. Replaced with one from a 35hp unit and also swapped impellers from the 35hp. The nylon impeller key looked ok, but what would I know bout how it should look.
So now I'm about to remove the lower, reinstall checking that the water tube is properly located for water flow.
So if something is restricting the water flow between the block entrance and exit, can I use air pressure to try and dislodge the blockage? Say push air into the exit where the pee hose connects to the block and watch for debris to come out the inlet where the water tube enters the block.

Did you pull the hose off the fitting and check for blockage?

If so check thermostat and area around it.

Once it's back together try unscrewing the plastic nipple that the pee tube hooks on to at the block.

These are all pinch points.

Pulled the lower again, installed an outing on the water tube, wife visually lined up the water tube for me as I push it together! New tub of water and we have a solid stream! Thank you everyone for your help. Webekin
