dyna-float suspension

the motor on my boat moves around at the bottom mounting point. I dont really know how to explain it but it looks lilke something is missing like a bushing or a washer. does anyone know what i am talking about and if you do can you tell me what needs to be done to fix it. thanks

Well, if its anything Dyna Float, what you have is a broken motor mount...like asked, what motor and upper or lower mounts??

im sorry its a 1980 85 horse mercury. its the mount that mounts to the engine about midway down. i have some pics but i havnt figured out how to post them yet

They didnt make an 85hp in 1980.... but they did make them from 1973 through 1977. A 4cyl Merc. Nice motor.

Assuming that is what you have....

The mid-section does have rubber mounts that could wear out (see pic Item 22).... but more often it is actually the rubber mount in the vertical swivel that is worn out (see other pic, Item 2).

Item #22 Merc p/n 75300 <-- this part is NLA , and may be tough to find
