Durabak questions

I have decided to go with Durabak to cover the floor of my SS. Can it be used directly over the wood or should I glass it in before hand? I'm worried about the Durabak not adhearing correctly.

I am replacing the floor with new wood. Will I need to coat the bottom of the wood? I am tring to determine how much I will need.
