epoxy will bond to a poly hull. poly will not bond to epoxy. isnt that a oxymoron or is it wet poly can not bond to dry epoxy but wet epoxy can bond to dry poly.

Re: dumb resin question

poly does not have good bonding characteristics . . . So, you might get poly to bond to epoxy, but it will be a 'temporary' bond.
Epoxy has good bonding characteristics, and is used for a wide variety of bonding applications.

Re: dumb resin question

but why do you ask the question - out of need because your in the middle of a project and trying to determine the route of epoxy vs poly, or out of curiosity for your own edification?
