Greetings!
New member, first post.
I bought a project boat, a Chris Craft Stinger 314 whose repairs required to splash her are nearly complete, Yahooo!
It’s got a pair of 2001 Mercury XL (I believe) 2 stroke 250 outboards.
Ive never owned a twin engine boat before and would imagine that being able to trim both engines simultaneously would be helpful. The independent switches on the throttle handles work, but are a tad awkward to hit both at the same time.
Does anyone have any idea how to wire a separate switch to either: 1) Allow either trim switch on the throttle handle to run both motors together, or 2) Have a separate 3 position (momentary, center off) switch which trims both motors together?
Thanks all!
