dt 40 no spark

engine quit, restarted and ran for less than a minute and it quit. ckd for spark, no spark. replaced plugs, no spark. ckd. kill switch even disconnected it at cdi, still no spark. ckd for resistance for charge coil was within range. ckd pulser coil, within range. ckd ignition secondary windings, range is suppose to be 3100-3200, I showed 2200 ohms so I replaced cdi because it's a combined unit. still no spark. Can anyone give me any suggestions. thanks

Suzuki cdi hardly ever fails, expensive part to replace for no reason ..... check throttle position sensor .... no spark on any of the cyl?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I think I ck'd them both, I was told that if one won't fire the other won't either. I was also told that they both fire at the same time. I will look into the throttle position sensor. The boat is a distance from my home so i'm not sure how soon I can ck it out. thanks

If the one fires but not the other one then you have a faulty coil .....
