Dropped pushrod!

I really screwed up....I was taking a pushrod out while adjusting the valves on my 4.3 OMC to wipe oil off them so I can get a better grip on them.....well I somehow dropped it in the intake....it is still very close to the hole.....

What should i use to fish it out? Just asking so I can find the best way since I dont want to knock it out of reach.....

Maybe try one of those long skinny telescoping magnets?

Yep, antenna magnet,, you can get them at wal-mart,, (hardware dept..)

Magnet, or wrap a small piece of wire into a coil; slide over it, then use sideways pressure to grab it.
as soon as you think you have it made, it will drop- be ready with your other hand with some needle nose pliers.

I got it with an antenna magnet.....now I'm having more problems....read the thread on adjusting rockers....
