Re: Drop Shot bass fishing
Hey guys,

Just when i though i had the boat fixen in my grasp....BLAM.

I went out and bought the 30 S.S. bolts, nuts and washers to fix it with.

Then i looked at the bottom of the boat one more time and found out it has 50 B,N,and washers...RRRRRRR

Oh well...I got a head start. By the time i get those in i will have enough $ for the other 20.

Bkelly,

Yea its a saltwater gimmic for trout and other fish (mostly trout).

It is a jig head with a grubb body floated under a cigar bobber or cajun thunder bobber rig so that the jig/grubb bounces just above the grass. TROUT KILLER. you just do the same as with a jig....but the bobber imatates the sound of feeding trout....witch draws in other trout, and so on.

The reverse za-bee-da part is with "dog on carpet style gung fu" the jig/grubb is kept above the grass because of the pull of the rod instead of hanging under the bobber.

The butterfly knot is a killer one...its just takes a little more work.

Cross the line once to make a loop

take a toothpick (or match...something of that size) and lay it across the line where it crosses itself.

Turn it about 7 times (twist the toothpick up into the line) so there is several twists on eather side of the toothpick.

then stick the top of the loop into the hole where the toothpick is....pull it through and pull the line on each side tight.

It makes a real pretty knot with a kinda noose deal on the top and bottom of the loop....real strong too.

It gets easier with a little practice.

A shoafin monk should always be proficent in " bounceing monkey style gung fu "

In my 12ft jon, my daughter ripped a minnow from my flavor saver...up the side of my sniffer...and bounced it off my eyebrow . How i did not get hooked i do not know....." bouncing monkey " saved the day once again! You can't use " hidden dragon style gung fu" on your daughter...so ya just gotta grin-and-bear it.

Luckywood.
