Drive Rebuilder Can't get parts, since November, May get Alpha for L6's

I sent my 2 MC-1 (1972 165 L6's) drives to a rebuilder for a pretty penny in November. After many months of accepting excuses I'm still in a position where he apparently still can't get parts, or he is broke and lying. I've decided not to wait any longer and to try and get my money back. I just want to make sure I understand my options.

Am I remebering correctly that on the Innline 6's the Yoke is 8-1/8"?

so If I want new, I think I can:

Buy SEI drives with the short yoke

or

Buy Alpha 1 Gen 1 drives and buy short yokes and swap them over

You already have two short length shafts you can take off the MC-1's and slap them on the newer Alpha One, unless you don't think your getting your drives back from him? What parts are you waiting on?

I'm not expecting them back. I can't get a straight answer on what parts are needed. They were original drives in very rough shape.

Agree with your options. Hopefully u get made whole financially. No one likes talking crap but you may want to mention the rebuilder so no one else gets screwed
