Drive Comparison: OB v Jet v Stern

Sickwilly, I couldn't agree more with the skier test.

I would love to be able to get the OB if they can find a way to increase convenience.

I imagine the jet is a good option, but I think my sterndrive is loud.

My current boat with the 5.7l is quieter than my old 2.5l. Does your exhaust go through the drive?

Yeah, my exhaust goes through the drive. I think its the stock setup. I guess its not terribly loud, but definitely have to yell when cruising. I know wind makes a lot of noise but I do hear the motor too. Maybe its more the tone than the decibel.
