I have a ( I Think ) 1972-73 50 horse evinrude electric shift.
Model -50273c Serail- E02616 ..
Problem, after setting for about ten or more yrs, in a garage,, bought the boat, got it running in the tub outside,, ran sum seafoam through it ,new plugs , had a bit of a miss ,was clearing up in the tub, after 4 times of running for 15 min till warm,shut down for 15-20 ,,. ran smooth, ..
Took it to the lake 2nd time on the water, still will not plain out, now it is locked in reverse, wanted to shift into rev while in forward ,, over heat horn sounding while running in rev on water, shut it down,, drifted in and here we are.. any help would be wounderful.. Thanks..
