Hello. I have a 2001 5.7 L GS and we are going to get cold weather tonight. I want to drain the water from the block. I found the blue pet **** valve on each side of the engine for the manifolds but where are the drains for the block? There is brass plugs on the end of each manifold . Is that it?

thanks

Ok thank you. It looks like there is some type of sealant on the threads of those drain bolts. Do I need put that on before reinstalling?

pipe dope or teflon tap at most. I used a dab of axle grease for years
