Looking for an Owners manual for a 1997 Donzi Medallion 275LXC. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

You realize that a boat "owners manual" is nothing more than a 4 page pamphlet that has a list of servicing dealers, and a general safety message stating wear pfds.

Its usually packaged with tge motor and drive operation manual, a trailer manual and the stereo manual

What information are you looking for?

First welcome to iboats!

This is from the Donzi web site and it's just info : https://media.donzimarine.com/media/1044/donzi-marine-1997-product-information-guide.pdf

Now you can do a few things -
Contact Donzi direct and try not to be frustrated by the covid excuses and ask them but........ the better suggestion is to obtain a manual that matches your motor and outdrive.

The basic operators manuals for 99% tell you about life jackets and navigation buoys with handfuls of precautions. The important manuals are about your motor, performing maintenance and servicing the outdrive.

Have fun, be safe and good luck - the Donzi is a beautiful boat. Look around in the iboats store for the extras you might want. By the way that is alot of boat to clean!

Hi Scott, Thank you for responding. I was hoping that with a manual it would provide information on the breaker panel. Most of my experience has been with outboards and open style boats, no cabin (nothing with shore power vs battery). This is my 1st boat with a cabin and on board breaker panel/ extensive wiring components etc.. The previous owner didn't have anything of the original pamphlets or manuals. Having some these would just allow me to research what I can to know as much about the boat prior putting it in the water come Spring/Summer. Thanks again.

Hi Bob,
Thank you very much for responding. And thank you for accepting me without knowing me... I too went on the Donzi website and found the information you provided. I guess I was hoping that the original owners manual would still be available in some obscure corner of the Earth and that it would have much more information listed ie, Breaker panel info, Head info, macerator pump info. All the info for the options you don't find with an open style boat that doesn't have Shore power vs. battery power. This is my 1st Cabin style boat. Ok, so I will pick up a Merc 7.4 manual (most important). And learn as I go with the help from all on this web forum. Thanks again.

The 'Owner's Manual' question gets asked a lot . . . The thing is that many/most boat manufacturers do not write/publish comprehensive owners manuals. So, they never existed in the first place, and therefore you will never find one for an older boat. Usually, you will get a documentation set which includes individual manuals for the engine and some of the systems on the boat. . . but as to where stuff is and how to use it, you are pretty much on your own.

I have seen a few companies begin to produce fairly comprehensive owners manuals . . . Chaparral is one company that comes to mind.

there are literally less than 1 dozen boat makers (out of nearly 1/2 million boat manufactures that have come and gone in the past 100 years) that make boat manuals, and Chap is one like mentioned. very early chris-craft, some searays, some fourwinns.

the wiring on the motor and controls and gauges is covered in the engine manual.

the blower, horn, lighting, bilge fans, etc. is generic and covered in our electrical sub-forum. https://forums.iboats.com/threads/generic-boat-wiring-information-updated-verified.726970/
