Don't know how to solve this problem

i had my 40 horse all primed, painted and coated with urathane and waxwd ready to put on but the stand fell over and with the motor on it didn't brake anything but now needs some skuffing some paint and a few more coats of urathane so what i'm looknig for is how to take wax off? tried sanding wet and dry but barly makes a dint, tried with 800 no luck then 400 now gonna try 220 just dont want to go to heavy and mess it up and have to start all over any advice would be awesome would try to solve this on my own but you guys got alot more expierance then me so i thought i'd gotto the pro's insted of the trial and error thing for me thats costly ty {the noobie painter}

rubbing with acetone will remove the wax

hi there thanks will try that for sure i have some of that ps do you know where i could get trim looked all over a Peterborough,Bellivillle, Pembroke ran adds on kijiji still nothing need steering wheel to i have the close line type but want to go with something like power maby teleflex ect ect ty so much for the help

I don't know what you mean by trim. If you want a new steering wheel and new linkage shop the net, or go to a marina.
